Introducing the brand new Ping G20 Driver. Here’s some technical information on the latest Ping driver.

High Launch
An external weight positions the Centre of Gravity for high launch and low spin to maximize distance and accuracy.

Variable Wall Thickness
Weight savings from varying wall thickness in the crown and body are positioned to optimize performance and durability.

New Ti811 Alloy
A light, lower density alloy, Ti811 allows for additional weight to be strategically placed to increase the MOI on both the verticle and horizontal axes.

Forgiveness
A large, variable-thickness face generates faster ball speeds and increases MOI for maximum forgiveness.

Aerodynamic Head Design
A key power generator is an aerodynamic 460cc head with reduced drag to increase clubhead speed. External weighting optimizes the CG position to maximize distance.

High-Balance-Point Technology

High-Balance-Point technology promotes a simultaneous increase in energy, momentum and interia. By positioning the CG closer to the grip end and removing 7 grams from the shaft, Ping engineers increased the G20′s driver’s head mass without adding to swing weight or overall club weight. As a result, you can swing the clubhead with more mass at the same speed, generating faster ball speeds for longer tee shot.

PingGolf.Net Rating

We tested the new Ping G20 Driver on the driving range and we found a definite increase in accuracy on shot dispersion. We aslo found that on the launch monitor there was a small but noticable increase in ball and clubhead speed due the to High-Balance-Point Technology which turned into extra yards off the mat.
